The new INSPIRA 2030 on Access to Medicines is out! [1]

How can we ensure all South Americans will have access to the best treatments? This is the fundamental question of the third issue of Inspira 2030, our maganize on the Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs) [4].

In order to answer this question, we interviewed the Director of UNITAID Celso Amorim, Michelle Childs of the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi), the ISAGS former Director José Gomes Temporão and Colombian researcher Claudia Vaca. So as to hint the impact of the UNASUR Medicine Price Database, we talked to Santiago Vázquez, who devised a similar tool in Ecuatorian SERCOP. In addition, we tell you all about the Compulsory Licensing of Efavirenz in Brazil and the dilemmas surrounding paediatric medicines.
