Created by the Bahia State Secretariat of Health (Sesab) in 1994, the School of Technical Training in Health. Jorge Novis (EFTS) is based on the SUS principles of universality, equity and integrality of health care and the Work Management and Permanent Health Education Policy, with an emphasis on valuing the work.

At Sesab, she is part of the Human Resources Superintendence, having the responsibility for the development of Technical High School Vocational Education of SUS.
