Inaugurated in 2001, the Viscount of Savoy Family Health Training School, in Sobral (CE), was born with the mission of developing educational actions with the Sobral Health School System, in view of the need to build a care model committed to the Unified Health System (SUS). The school focuses on a broader conception of health, taking the Family Health Strategy as a care framework and emphasizing health promotion. It values, within the scope of its political-pedagogical proposal, health education from a participatory, critical and dialogical perspective, aiming at the appropriation of knowledge and the emancipation of educational subjects.
