The Technical School of Health of Brasilia (ETESB) is a technically autonomous, directive, normative and executive institutions of high level technical vocational education, in various modalities in the health area. Created in November 1960 by the Deliberative Council of the Federal District Hospital Foundation (FHDF), with the name of Nursing Assistant School of Brasilia - EAEB, the School underwent a series of modifications, always with the imperative of training professional level. medium for healthcare.

In 2004, ETESB became part of the SUS Technical Schools Network - RET-SUS, whose mission is to train workers, constituting an important SUS consolidation tool, capable of strengthening the quality of service response to the needs of the population with the following objectives:

I. Share information and knowledge;

II. Seek solutions to problems of common interest;

III. Disseminate methodologies and other technological resources aimed at improving teaching, research and technical cooperation activities, with a view to implementing professional health education policies, especially for SUS workers;

IV. Promote the articulation of health professional education institutions in the country, to expand their capacity to act in line with the needs or demands of the SUS.
