The Technicians for Health Superior Institute (Instituto Superior de Tecnicaturas para la Salud) is a third level technical professional institution, whose objective are educating and training technicians in several health areas.

The Institute operates in the Training and Education Directorate of the Department of Education and Research range, a Buenos Aires City Ministry of Health agency (Dirección de Capacitación y Docencia de la Dirección General de Docencia e Investigación -Ministerio de Salud - Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires), which is responsible for ensuring that the health technicians and professionals education serves the sector policies needs.

It covers 13 careers theoretical and practical, lasting 2-3 years, from Monday to Friday, five hours daily in the morning, and in some careers daily in the afternoon, according to the particular characteristics of each. All the careers are free, and certificates are issued by the Training and Education Directorate.
