The Instituto de Medicina Integral Professor Fernando Figueira (IMIP), created in 1960, has as its main characteristic the concern with the quality of the various actions offered to the population. In line with this vocation and with its vision for the future, in 1979, Nursing Assistants and, later, the Nursing Technician were initially trained.

Accompanying the legal and market requirements, in 2008, the IMIP, through the accreditation, by the CEE, of the Polytechnic Health School of the IMIP, which incorporates in its structure the Technical courses in Nursing and starts to offer the Technical course in Radiology. Currently, offers courses in: Nursing Technician and Radiology Technician in accordance with the Axis: Health and Environment.

Our technical courses are in line with market needs and in accordance with national curriculum guidelines.

We prioritize the formation of a professional who will be constantly required in his technical capacity, intellectual autonomy, critical thinking, entrepreneurial spirit and competent to face predictable and unforeseeable situations, able to respond to new professional challenges honestly and with ethical integrity.
