With a mission to "Lead strategic collaborative efforts among Member States and other partners to promote the training of human resources for health, for all people, everywhere", PAHO's Virtual Campus for Public Health plays a key role in training health workers throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. By offering access to up-to-date knowledge and promoting collaboration between professionals, the virtual campus contributes significantly to the advancement of public health in the region and to the well-being of the populations it serves.

In order for the platform and the project to continue delivering results, it is essential to carry out an analysis of the trajectory and experience of health technician users who have already taken courses on the CVSP, by characterizing the sociodemographic and work profile of these workers and surveying the courses most frequently taken by health technicians at regional level and at national level and their associations.

As a WHO Collaborating Center for the Education of Health Technicians, the EPSJV is coordinating the research project "Expanding the participation of health technicians in the PAHO/WHO Virtual Public Health Campus (CVSP)". The project, whose aim is to expand and qualify health workers' access to the educational materials made available by PAHO/WHO on its Virtual Public Health Campus (CVSP-Opas/WHO), includes three virtual events to present the platform, methodology and results of the research.

The first event will have the theme Profile and educational trajectories of health technicians in the CVSP/Opas. It will take place on April 16, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Brasília time) and will be broadcast in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
