The Human Resources Training Center Caetano Munhoz da Rocha was created in 1954 as a School of Nursing Assistants, becoming a training center in 1989. The school is located in Curitiba (PR) and is linked to the State Health Secretariat.

In 1996, Cefor-RH-PR had a strong impetus in view of the partnerships established with other departments, councils, health institutions and representative bodies of class, resulting in the growth of courses in recent years. From 1954 to 1995, Cefor trained 2,682 students, jumping to 25,626 between the years 1996 and 2002. This increase was mainly due to the decentralization of courses, making it possible to cover all municipalities in the state.
